This is my first post to this blog, this will be like my training diary. I started at 257lbs, way too much and in August 2008 got serious about losing the weight. Since then I joined the NYSC and have been going 3 to 5 days per week. My dieting has been spotty but I have made some major changes and today I am at 229lbs. So almost 30 lbs. So this is my starting point.

Training

Joe, my personal trainer, came to the house today. We started with a 5 minute walking warmup on the treadmill at a 6 incline and 3mph. Then we did a curcuit of:

Push Ups
Bent Over Rows
Lunges
Mountain Climbers

In total we did three sets, I completed 34 push ups, 36 Bent over Rows, who knows how many lunges, and 30 mountain climbers - did I mention I worked out chest yesterday but I didn't tell him. We then jumped onto the treadmill for 5 minutes of hell.

Started at a 5 incline at 5mph, moved to a 7 incline at 5mph and then to a 4 inclien at 5mph, once that was over, and I was dead tired, we moved into the 2nd circuit.

Benchpressing, Lat Pull Downs, Romainan Deadlifts, 15 Second Stand in Place Sprints. In total I completed 28 presses using 135lbs, 30 lat pull downs, 30 Romainan Deadlifts, etc. Then back on the treadmill for another 5 minutes of hell alternating from a 4 to a 7 incline at 5 to 5.5 mph.

Eating

23gram Protein Shake
Banana, Peach
Asopada de Pollo (Chicken Rice Soup - homemade - 2 cupts)
Hershey Chocoloate Bar (1/2 bar, Ryan ate the other half)
Some Flips (maybe 2 servings)
Homemade Taco's (rinsed the beef to eliminate as much fat as possible, fat free beans, veggies)

Tomorrows Game Plan
Heading to Bally's going to do 1 hour on the Eleptical Rider, thats it.
